Automatic Network Plan
Perhaps an automatically generated network diagram in the customer view that is created as soon as devices are connected and shows which devices are connected to which others.
Synology NAS - Update Feature
An update feature for the Synology NAS would be useful; a single rule where you could specify when updates should be performed would suffice.
Show "Which software is out of date?" in the software list
It would be nice if the software list showed right away which software is out of date. I find it very cumbersome to have to go through "Install Software" to check for updates.

Long-term monitoring of CPU, RAM, and disk usage
For efficient error analysis and proactive system monitoring, it would be extremely helpful if Octoja RMM could store and visualize historical performance data for CPU, memory, and HDD/SSD utilization over an extended period of time. Currently, many performance issues are difficult to trace once the anomaly has already passed. By providing long-term metrics, administrators could much more easily identify when and under what conditions bottlenecks or unusual load spikes occurred. Desired Features: Historical logging of CPU, RAM, and storage metrics Visualization as a chart with customizable time periods At least 90 days of retention Display of peak values, average values, and trends Ability to correlate with other events (e.g., software installations, updates, or alerts) Benefits and Use Cases: Traceable analysis of performance issues even weeks or months after they occur Identification of creeping resource bottlenecks Better planning of hardware upgrades through capacity analyses Identification of applications or services with unusual resource consumption Support in investigating the root causes of user complaints and sporadic system issues Historical performance data is an extremely valuable tool, especially when dealing with sporadic performance issues. Retaining metrics for at least 90 days would significantly enhance the practical value of Octoja RMM’s monitoring features and greatly simplify fault analysis.

Synchronize RMM Agents with AD Computers
To see if there are still systems in AD that don't have an agent, compare the agent list with the AD computers. Conversely, this method could also be used to check for agents that have been offline for an extended period. If the offline agent is an AD member but no longer exists in AD, it could be marked for deletion. If the computer was recently online according to AD, then we know that the agent is defective and a technician needs to address the issue.
Involve the BSI in software audits
Since the board is aware of all the software on the systems, referencing the latest BSI advisories would enhance system security! Include a link to the current security vulnerability.

Input Variables for Automation Scripts
It would be great if we could also define input variables for automations that apply to all PSWH, Bash, and Mac scripts. That way, you wouldn’t have to manually change certain values in every script, and you could generally make changes to the inputs more easily instead of having to edit the scripts themselves.

Scheduling of check-in times
For example, by default, the checks should always restart at 8:30 a.m. and display the current results
Check Execution for Offline Devices
For example, for laptops that are not connected but still need to reliably run their checks—including self-healing—and their jobs.
VE: Check Package for Host, Guests, Storage, and Clusters
If the agent is installed on a Proxmox host, octoja already displays the VMs and containers, storage, snapshots, and corresponding actions on the device page. What’s missing is a monitoring feature that constantly keeps an eye on the node and alerts you if something goes wrong. Such a feature already exists for VMware and Hyper-V. The following scenarios would be useful: A VM or container isn’t running even though it should be. A guest is set to "start on boot" but has stopped responding. A guest is stuck in a lock because a backup or migration was aborted. A storage device is running out of space or is no longer accessible, such as a mounted NFS or CIFS share. A cluster node is offline or the quorum is missing. On a single node without a cluster, this item should simply be omitted without an error message. Snapshots are getting too old or there are too many of them. They take up storage space and slow down the VM, and they’re rarely cleaned up. Data backup: when was the last successful backup for each guest, and has a job failed recently? This can be addressed later; the rest is more urgent. Ideally, this should be a single check where the individual items can be disabled, with custom thresholds for storage usage and snapshot age, and an exception list for test and template guests. Login credentials shouldn’t be necessary, since the agent runs on the node. And if the inventory detects that a device is a Proxmox host, the check could be suggested right away, instead of having to set it up manually on every node. There’s no need to check what’s already covered by existing checks on the host: ZFS pools, disk health and RAID, CPU, RAM and disk space, services, and the web interface certificate.

Monitoring of Third-Party Patching
Feature Request: Synchronizing Installed Software Versions with Deployment/Patch Packages It would be essential to implement an additional check—similar to the one used for system updates. The check should compare the installed version of an application on the system with the version of the corresponding software package in the deployment or third-party patching. The goal is to be able to centrally determine: whether applications managed via third-party patching are actually up to date with the latest patches which systems still have outdated versions installed which applications or clients are experiencing patching issues whether a deployment was successfully applied or needs to be adjusted Currently, there is no transparent overview showing whether the applications included in third-party patching have actually been updated correctly. It would therefore be desirable to have a status check or analysis that compares the installed version with the expected package version for each device and application and highlights any discrepancies.

"Notes" & "Description" under Devices -> System
It would be great if there were two editable fields on the Devices tab, above or below “Device Information”: Description: “Print Server” or “Server Room 2” or “Replacement Device” Notes: temporary/permanent information about the device, e.g., “DO NOT RESTART!!!!” or “Windows Updates disabled, see Ticket #12345” or “No antivirus software, see (link to Knowledge Base)”

Acknowledge checks with warnings or errors as "OK"
If a check fails for a verifiable reason or as planned, or if a warning is issued, it should be possible to set the result to "OK" and suspend the execution of that check until a specific time.
For service monitoring, automatically start services
For service monitoring, if a monitored service stops running, have the system automatically restart it; only trigger a critical alarm if this is not possible—otherwise, issue only a warning.
Enable BitLocker
BitLocker should be automatically enabled on all laptops, and the recovery key should be visible in the dashboard.
Tamper-proof
An important feature is tamper protection—this prevents anyone from forcibly removing the agent from the system. It must be approved via the console (the device’s web interface)—this will uninstall the agent, or a one-time uninstallation password can be generated.
Maintenance Mode
A mode that pauses checks or job execution, or, depending on the configuration, simply suppresses alarms.
