The octoja agent runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux. This page summarises which versions are supported and which features are only available on certain operating systems.

Windows Server 2012 R2	Legacy system; requires .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later before installation

The agent is available for x64 and ARM64. It needs the Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable and .NET Framework 4.7.2 or later; the quick install adds both when they are missing. See Deploy the Agent on Windows for details.

macOS

macOS 12 (Monterey) or newer, on Apple silicon (ARM64) and Intel (X64). See Deploy the Agent on macOS for details.

Terminal	Windows 10 version 1809 / Windows Server 2019 or later, macOS, and Linux
Software deployment	Windows (Chocolatey, winget, custom packages), macOS (Homebrew), Debian and Ubuntu (APT)
