How integrations work
Which integrations octoja offers, where you set them up, and where to find the guide for each one.
Integrations connect octoja to the systems you already use: ticketing and PSA tools, IT documentation, security, backup and network platforms, and alerting channels. The guide for each integration is in the Integrations reference tab. This article shows which integrations exist and where you set them up.
Where you set up integrations
You set up integrations under Administration → Integrations. This requires the Integration Management permission. The page is divided into Alerting, Ticketing systems and Other platforms. The search field at the top filters the cards by name. The groups in this article follow the Integrations reference tab: on the page, the ticketing systems and woasi are under Ticketing systems, all other platforms under Other platforms, and the alerting channels under Alerting.
For firewall rules in front of an integration API, webhook receiver or your SMTP server, see IP addresses and firewall rules. It explains which connection to allow and how to obtain the current outbound source IPs.
AI assistants such as ChatGPT and Claude are not connected there. You connect them over MCP under Settings → MCP clients. See MCP: overview and access.
Note: The Securepoint and UniFi integrations must first be enabled for your instance. An administrator enables Securepoint integration and UniFi integration under Settings → Beta features. Until then, their cards don't appear on the page.
Ticketing and PSA
A connected ticketing system is available as a channel in alert rules: octoja then creates a ticket in that system for an alert. Set up alerts for a check explains the rules.
IT documentation
These integrations send the devices octoja manages to your IT documentation. woasi is also available as a channel in alert rules.
Security, backup and network
These integrations connect octoja to security, backup and network platforms. Depending on the integration, they import devices, show data directly on the device, or provide data for checks such as Acronis Cyber Protect Cloud, Securepoint UTM or UniFi device. For an overview of all checks, see How checks work.
Alerting
You also set up these channels under Administration → Integrations and then select them in alert rules.
Besides alerts, webhooks also deliver other octoja events, such as inventory pushes and automation steps.
When an integration does not work as expected
If a ticket is missing or an integration reports an error, check its stored attempts: Inspect and export integration history.
